With Carbon, a focus on performance underpins the solution. Carbon leverages SAP HANA''s in-memory database, allowing for swift data synchronization between SAP and Primavera, which is particularly important in the context of Shutdown Turnarounds (STOs). Carbon can process the large volumes of data associated with these STO events and synchronize the data in minutes – which is especially important when managing time critical activities.

Carbon has a simple interface that allows for easy management of transfers, synchronization, and administration of data. Based on SAP Fiori, it provides a familiar user experience for tasks relating to interchange of data between SAP and Primavera P6.

Many asset intensive customers need more than simply shuffling data from A to B. Instead, they need to take data from SAP or P6, manipulate the data (perform summarizations, calculate Earned Value, etc.), before syncing the results back to the source or destination systems – and they need this done in a matter of minutes.
